That doesn’t make sense
It’s making an obnoxiously heavy-handed metaphor about people being “property of the state” (Which is stupid.)
I know what they’re saying, I just don’t understand the thought behind that. How are human beings government property?
They’re not. It’s an attempt to draw parallels to fascist/etc states wherein people are not given rights as people and are treated just as property, because some people think that governments being a bit too eager with surveillance is the same thing as 1984. Usually the same sort of people who use the term “sheeple” unironically :/
Or the same morons who think the government caused 9/11?
A BIT TOO EAGER
RECENTLY IN THE UK THEY HACKED INTO LAPTOP WEBCAMS AND STORED IMAGES OF PEOPLE INCLUDING NAKED PICTURES OF PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO TEST IF WEB CAMS COULD BE USED FOR FACIAL RECOGNITION
thAT IS MORE THAN JUST A BIT TOO EAGER
Actually we ARE government property… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-PJDVG1uak&list=PL0rL8MSZ1AXnouOW8WFLCK-tlPS8ozesx&index=2
